Expanding global reach and best of breed user experience

Computacenter, one of the largest hardware and software resellers in Europe, with annual revenue of over £4+ billion, has been a client of ours since 2018.

Computacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services. Their clients include local and regional government, local councils, and large corporates – from BMW to Camelot to Kellogg’s, and they support 4.2m end users across the globe. They first came to us as their existing platform was hindering their ability to provide best of breed user experience, and their global reach was being negatively impacted.

Building best of breed solutions through extensive discoveries

Lagging behind with issues ranging from over complicated integrations, customer assortment and pricing to the inability to directly serve non-core countries, Computercentre needed a solution that would catapult them into the modern world, giving them space to grow and future proof them for many years to come.

Working closely with their team, we’ve built a solution that will do exactly that.

Through our Intensive Discovery Consultation programme, we created an extensive roadmap which would combat all of their issues, as well as including a series of continuous improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

For Computacentre, global reach was imperative to their growth, and so we focused our efforts on tackling their inability to serve non-core countries.

By incorporating a Global IT procurement portal, with Punchout via cXML and OCI, Computacentre is now able to offer products in every corner of the globe, with multi-language and multi-currency functionality.

We integrated their SAP Hybris platform with the likes of  SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), SAP Process Integration (PI) and C-Net to automate the flow of information – such as stock inventory – around the company and to external suppliers.

After our first deployment, Computacentre saw fantastic results – with a huge number of onboarded customers, significant cost reduction of supply to non-core countries, increased global reach, higher customer satisfaction and higher Average Order Value.

Our relationship with Computacentre is still going strong 2 years later, with a continuous improvement roadmap in place.
